Scooby-Doo is a combination live action, computer
generated comedy in which the title character –
a Great Dane – and his four human pals set out in
their Mystery Machine for a new adventure. The big
budget movie was shot in Queensland. A blond Freddie
Prinze Jr plays Fred, Sarah Michelle Gellar is sexy
redhead, Daphne, Matthew Lillard is goofy Shaggy
and Linda Cardellini plays Velma, the smart one
(you know she’s clever because she wears glasses.)
Rowan Atkinson plays the villain of the piece, Mondavarious.

girl helping a bad guy find the good in himself.

is not unlike something that Jack Nicholson’s irascible
character said about Helen Hunt’s in As Good As
It Gets. The movie is based on a book by Nicholas
Sparks, whose previous novel-to-film was Message
in a Bottle. So prepare to have your emotions stirred.

SYNOPSIS:

Set on the moon in the year 2087,
the action/adventure comedy Pluto Nash stars Eddie
Murphy as the title character, an audacious nightclub
owner who finds himself in hot water when he refuses
to sell his club to the local mob. The lunar gangsters
are helping the mysterious Rex Crater mastermind
a plan to take over the moon. Joining Nash in the
danger and lunacy are Dina Lake (Rosario Dawson),
a beautiful earthling who has traveled to the moon
to further her singing ambitions, and Pluto's bodyguard
Bruno (Randy Quaid) - a robot quickly approaching
obsolescence. Rounding out the cast are Peter Boyle
as a pool shark and Pluto confidant; Pam Grier as
Pluto's gun-toting mother; Joe Pantoliano as a moon
thug, and Jay Mohr as Pluto's best friend, an Italian
singing sensation.

SYNOPSIS:
|
Part live action and part animation,
the movie takes us to a strange new place called
Frank City – the inner world of a slob called
Frank Detorri (Bill Murray), a zoo worker whose
hygiene habits are to die for – and he probably
will if he doesn’t clean them up soon. He is
the widowed father to Shane (Elena Franklin), a
daughter who despairs that her father is a junkie
– as in, addicted to junk food.
Frank rings alarm bells within his
already abused body when he picks up and swallows
a hard-boiled egg – previously the property
of a chimp. Animation sequences take over when we
enter Frank’s interior – now invaded by
Thrax (voiced by Laurence Fishburne), a virus courtesy
of the unwelcome egg. But a hero is on the horizon
in the shape of Osmosis Jones (voice: Chris Rock),
a renegade white blood cell from the police force!
He hooks up with a partner, Drix (voice: David Hyde
Pierce), an everyday cold tablet, to bring down
Thrax before Thrax brings down Frank.
